Hi! Let me introduce myself. A1TRNYSTARRfish is the name. A great gin tourney is the game. So, you really need to know about me? Well, my dear fellow Gin Junkies… I’m over the age of consent <g>. Further, I am a proud parent of three young adults. Bry, who’s 27, has finally fulfilled his dream to become a cog in the wheel of the world’s finest fire department-FDNY. Thank you all for your support during the time I was ‘prematurely graying’ over all this.  Kirk, who will be 25, finally graduated from college with a BS (EE) degree...YAY, Superman!! (that’s his nickname, y’know). My babygirl, Meg, is 22 and an apple that didn’t fall far from this tree. In her line of work, which is in imports, she’s been fortunate to have been selected to participate in trade shows all over the country representing her company.  And, she’s good at it, too.

So, ummm…I AM a native “Jersey Girl”, born and raised at the Shore. And to answer the “burning” question of the century...WHAT EXIT??? It’s 63!! So there!! Ooh, can I tell you?? I was in Las Vegas last summer and chatting with some people when some strange guy asked (after finding out that I live in Jersey)…“Hey, what Exit do you live at??” #ahem..  He won’t ask that question again…LOL

So right now, what I do for a living is something of a “Gal Monday thru Friday and THEN some”. I work in municipal government as an executive assistant (organize corporate meetings, develop databases, find answers to problems; do follow ups; ‘corrupt’ my young trainees terribly; and essentially do what it takes help keep my people at the “top” ~‘lookin’ good’). I also serve on the Board of Directors of a local Chamber of Commerce. So, I do more than push paper...lol…really, aah do.

You know, I’ve met lots of great people playing Gin with this group, A1TRNY, since I started playing in 2001. And it’s amazing to see that we always look forward to each get‑together to meet up again. Besides getting to know our great team of tournament directors and administrators ~ A1Bouncealot, A1MsBeezers, A1Rusty, A1Liana, A1PearlieMae, A1CHARM-ing, and A1Mello(brat)~ I’ve so enjoyed meeting many of our players…dear, dear MrGin2U (ooh Mariooo-OMG he’s so cute!), lkaonashton (larrycutie) and all his a/k/a’s, HAPPY (happy joy joy), Golda (oh, I hate playing Golda, she always slays me. #slam), ROLLTIDE (hey!! She’s baaack!!) and BabeinGinland dahlink (with all her a/k/a’s too). And I also send #smooches to Colleen, Fannie and Cat when I can. I miss their A1TRNY-director camaraderie. But they’re always with me. 

This spring, we get to dally in Dallas, Texas, as coordinated by Gamegirl, babyduckie, gran and missasskicking. Thanks, y’all!! Actually, I need to see if everything really IS bigger in TEXAS!! And, we seem to be having a regular and welcome surprise awaiting us when ciscadbest1 walks through the door. Direct from Holland! Schatzie, leave the wooden shoes at the door and the knockers in the Knocker Locker, please. Hey!!! Who’s checking in the knockers these days?? Wolvie, come back! <g>.
